Last week was a busy one at Rotten Rottie Rescue, but we finally get to introduce you to Mona 💕 Monday, November 10th, we rescued a very scared female puppy from Maricopa County Animal Care & Control, and we named her Mona. 💕

Mona leaving the shelter

The shelter had made her adoptable, but when I met her, I could tell she needed support to build her confidence before she’d be ready for a forever home. Enter our amazing foster, Nelly. 🙌 Her last foster, Chapo, was just adopted — another terrified Rottie she helped transform. So, when Mona needed a soft place to land, Nelly didn’t hesitate.

Watch the video above of Mona leaving the shelter... she was absolutely terrified. Now, after just ONE WEEK in foster care, she’s already opening up, starting to trust, and showing her sweet personality in the video below. We’re so proud of her progress and grateful to Nelly for giving her the safe space she deserves.

Mona doing MUCH better!

Please Note: We do not adopt outside of Arizona.
