Meet our Adoptable Rotten Rotties below:

Do you want to see all our adorable Rotten Rotties? Well, you landed on the right page!

We try hard to keep adoptapet.com, this and the other websites up to date, but we all volunteer our time here, and sometimes it might not be accurate. We may have the dog of your dreams, but we have been so busy taking care of that dog, that we haven't had a chance to put him on the website yet. If you are looking for something specific and can't seem to find it on adoptapet.com, please contact us.  Also, if you have it, check out our FACEBOOK page for more everyday developing rescues. Thank you!

Steps to adopting a Rottweiler from us:
1. Fill out the adoption questionnaire.
2. meet dogs and find one that you want to adopt.
3. Pass a home check
4. sign contract
5. pay adoption fee.

We are glad to see your interest in our rescue efforts! Our fees help support the ongoing care and rehabilitation of Rottweilers in need.

Generally, the fees are as follows: Adults - $500, Puppies - $600 and up, and Seniors - $400. Your contributions are vital to our mission, allowing us to continue rescuing and caring for these wonderful dogs.  All dogs are spay/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and come with a collar and leash.  We also take care of any health problems we are aware of while they are in our care. We frequently have the dog's teeth professionally cleaned, if needed and funding is available.

Rottweilers have been listed as one of the top 10 most expensive pets to own! Why?

Because they are prone to all kinds of health problems, because most people need help with how to train them and training can get expensive, because they eat as much as some adult humans! So, they are like feeding another kid.   You should expect to spend a minimum of $75- $100 a month for a good quality food, and they go through even the toughest $20 toys in as quick as a day or two. If you don't buy them toys, then guess what, they may eat your new pair of boots. If you cannot afford the expenses of this breed, then choose a different breed.

You don't want to be put in a situation when the dog needs a medical procedure and you can't afford it so either the dog suffers, or you have to choose to put the dog to sleep. A good Insurance program that covers all medical expenses 90% with a $250 deductible, will cost you about $200 a month when they get older.  I have never paid out more in premiums than insurance paid out in claims.  At 6 years old my Rottweiler got pancreatitis. A week in the ICU cost my insurance $8,000!  Without treatment she would have died. When my boy, Kid Rott, got cancer he was 6 years old and my insurance company paid out $30,000 for his treatment. We were so grateful to have this policy in place so we could concentrate on getting him help, without having to worry about how we would pay for it.
