Meet 2-year-old Niko!

Niko is our newest member of the RR family! He is heading to Amanda’s at Paw Creek Training on Monday to complete a board and train and will be up for adoption soon after that. Like with a lot Rottie puppies, he can mouthy when over stimulated, so she is going to correct that. He also likes to eat rocks, so she is going to work on that too. He also has a water bottle fetish that she will be correcting.

His perfect home would be one with older children or no children, no rocks in the back yard and a home with a RO system. LOL! We all need to use less plastic anyway, right???

Look at that face!!  Niko comes from a breeder, so the owner contacted them first and were told they could not take him back.  The owners are caring for their baby grand daughter and do not trust Niko with her because he’s just so big, and a little hyper sometimes, but hasn’t shown any aggression towards the baby. They just don’t feel safe with him being around her, so Niko spends 20-22 hours a day in his crate, which is not fair to him.

We do not adopt outside the state of Arizona, and we need all of our fosters to live in the Phoenix area. We are in Gilbert so the closer you are to us, the easier it is for everybody. It wouldn’t be bad if you lived out near Amanda though, and she is in New River. Thanks
