Rotten Rottie is a non profit 501c3 rescue focused on Rottweilers. We are the only Rottweiler rescue in Arizona.
Every year thousands of Rottwielers are abused and euthanized largely because of the public’s misunderstanding of the breed. Most of our dogs come from animal shelter’s death row. We also rescue from homes that no longer want them, neglectful situations, and puppy mills. We have a network of foster homes that provide love and care until suitable, permanent homes are found.

That’s a Live Release Rate of 90%*
*Our “Live Release Rate” is the number of live outcomes divided by the number of total number of intakes. Rotten Rottie gives every dog in our care the time and support they need to find a loving home. However, because we take in some very vulnerable and sick animals, some die in our care despite the veterinary care and love we provide.
Adoption:

· 21% of adoptions were puppies (< 1 year old)
· 79% of adoptions were adults (age 1 year and above)
· Over 600 lives saved since 2011!
