Amara is gaining weight.

Two weeks ago we rescued an emaciated Rottweiler that we named Amara. She weighed 44 pounds at the time and I’m happy to report she has gained at least 15 pounds since then!

A week ago Friday she gained 12 pounds weighing in at 56. Here’s a video of her today

Her transformation has been amazing! She has turned out to be such a lovely girl. She’s friendly with everybody. She likes other dogs. She’s well behaved. I have not heard her bark or wine or cry. Not once. She just has so much love to give. She will be getting spayed soon. I hope somebody will reach out and give her a forever home.

Xander is on the euthanasia list

*URGENT  ARIZONA*

The shelter has placed Xander on the euthanasia list. The shelter will euthanize him on 9/11 if we do not find a foster or foster-to-adopt by the evening of 9/10. If you are interested in Xander, please reach out via message or phone (480) 567-4328 and complete our foster or adoption application on our website.

If we are able to save him, he will go directly to board & train at Paw Creek Training in New River, AZ. His foster or Foster-To-Adopt will be required to go to New River multiple times to work with Xander and the trainer Amanda to build a relationship and be set yup for success prior to bringing him home.

Paul's Ace Hardware Rottoberfest donation

Huge shout out to Paul’s Ace Hardware for always showing up for the Rotten Rotties!

Last year, at the end of the season, they loaded up our van with tons of Halloween goodies —which means brand-new spooky decorations for this year’s Rottoberfest party! And today… they donated a brand-new Weber Grill (valued at $1,100!)  to our Rottoberfest auction!

But that’s not all… Paul’s Ace Hardware also chose us for their “Round Up Your Change” program several times, which raised several thousand dollars for our rescue pups!
